The Kiwanis 38th Annual Christmas Parade took place in Franklin on Saturday at 2 p.m., kicking off at Jim Warren Park and winding through Main Street in downtown Franklin.

The 2017 parade, themed “Rockin’ Christmas,” featured Joe Elmore, the host of WNPT TV show “Tennessee Crossroads,” as Grand Marshal.

Parade viewers may have had to squint and don sunglasses to see Santa Claus, but sunny skies and mid-sixties weather didn’t dull the Christmas spirit.
