A Williamson County Sheriff’s Office deputy has been arrested and charged with six counts of observation without consent and one count of stalking following a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

According to a TBI news release, Cody King, 37, an eight-year veteran with WCSO, was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a $10,000 bond and has since been released.

Few details have been released about King’s arrest following a Marshall County grand jury indictment after TBI agents, at the request of 17th Judicial District Attorney General Robert Carter, began investigating King on Jan. 30 regarding “allegations of stalking relating to domestic matters” involving his ex-wife.

According to a WCSO news release, King has been suspended without pay pending the results of the criminal case.
