The Factory at Franklin is planning an on-site boutique hotel and a new parking garage.
The Factory Hotel, part of the Mariott Bonvoy portfolio, is set to break ground later this year and open in spring 2028, according to a press release.
As part of the development, Building 9 will converted into a pool courtyard and part of the factory's existing Building 10 will be incorporated into the hotel lobby. The Factory Hotel will include 120 rooms, a restaurant and bar and meeting spaces.
The hotel will create 50 to 60 new jobs in the area, according to the release.
In addition, a parking garage will add nearly double the spaces in the area, bringing the existing count to 1,100 spaces. This will include a two-hour parking area for shorter errands.
“The Factory has always been about bringing people together, and this hotel is a natural extension of that vision,” shared Allen Arender, chief development officer of The Factory at Franklin.
“We’re creating a place where guests can fully experience the energy, history and hospitality that make Franklin so special. By thoughtfully integrating the hotel and more convenient parking spaces, we’re honoring the campus legacy while adding a new way for visitors to stay, gather and connect for years to come.”
