With the Williamson County Schools returning to action this week, and many of the private schools on a bye, week 9 featured a important region battles. 

The week final votes for the week 8 Football Player of the Week have been tallied, and this week's winner is Franklin Road Academy's Mike Hassell, who received 52 percent of the vote.

The Franklin Road Academy Panthers (8-0, 4-0) used its big-play running game and stout defense to defeat the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats 39-14 Friday night.

The week final votes for the week 7 Football Player of the Week have been tallied, and this week's winner is Page's Knight Wilson, who garnered a strong 59.1 percent of the vote.
