Atlanta firm acquires Franklin insurance company

Atlanta-based insurance brokerage, financial services and human resources consulting firm OneDigital has acquired Elite Insurance Solutions of Franklin.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed in a release.

With the deal, Elite Insurance Solutions will operate as OneDigital.

Founded in 2008 by Mike Stansbury and Randy Hulett, Elite is an independent property and casualty insurance firm home to 29 employees and with a client roster of about 3,500. Stansbury and Hulett will both serve as managing principal for OneDigital.

OneDigital was founded in 2000 and operates in 17 states. It works with more than 100,000 employers representing millions of individuals, according to the release.

OneDigital also operates offices in Nashville, Knoxville, Gallatin and Murfreesboro. With the transaction, OneDigital will combine its Nashville and Franklin offices in a future space. Matt Moraski serves as senior managing principal of OneDigital Tennessee.

“With our 25 years in the industry, this partnership came at the perfect time to give us everything we need to elevate our commitment to our valued business and individual clients and compete more effectively in our target markets,” Elite said in the release.
