Spring Fling 32 — which featured the TSSAA state championships for baseball, softball, boys soccer, boys and girls tennis, and boys and girls track and field — took place last week in Murfreesboro.

Several Williamson County schools participated in the weeklong event, including a few state champions.

Below are the results for WillCo schools at Spring Fling 2025.

Baseball

Class 4A:

Independence lost its opening game to Farragut 3-2 before defeating Rossview 3-1 and Siegel 8-6 to advance to the semifinals. There, they fell to eventual state champions Farragut again, 9-5. The Eagles finished 28-13 on the season.

Division II-AA:

CPA defeated Christian Brothers 7-3 and rival Lipscomb Academy 7-1 to advance to the championship series. However, the Lions lost two in a row to the Mustangs, 13-6 and 11-2, to finish as the state runner up with a final record of 33-5-6.

Class 4A

Page made its first state tournament appearance since 1996. The Patriots lost their opener 8-1 to Walker Valley, but bounced back with 5-3 wins over Dobyns Bennett and Rossview. Eventual state champ Walker Valley got the best of Page again in the semifinals, winning 10-8. Page finished with a 24-6 record.
