The Brass Tap is set to franchise three Middle Tennessee locations in Brentwood, Murfreesboro and Franklin.
The expansion is led by 23-year-old entrepreneur Ohm Patel, alongside family members and business partners Chan Patel, Sanjay Patel, and Shivam Patel, according to a press release. The family also manages hotels and retail businesses locally.
The Brass Tap has more than 50 locations nationally, with the closest location in Huntsville, Alabama. The Brentwood location will represent the brand’s first foray into Tennessee.
"My immediate goal is to establish our first location in Brentwood and make it a place where local residents can truly come in, relax and feel right at home," Ohm said in the release. "Since there are currently no locations in Tennessee, it's a huge opportunity to introduce the concept to the market."
The Brass Tap offers American fare with extensive local brewery offerings, as well as entertainment space. It is part of FSC Franchise Co., a restaurant franchise group that also includes Beef 'O' Brady's and Newk's Eatery.
