A Jackson man is wanted by the Franklin Police Department following an armed robbery of the Galleria Boulevard McDonald's on Wednesday evening.

On Thursday afternoon, FPD identified the man as 52-year-old William D. Bartholomew of Jackson and issued a warrant for his arrest on the charge of aggravated robbery.

Police initially described the gunman as a "heavy-set man wearing a head covering and a blanket or shawl with WWE wrestler logos on it," in a media release asking for information on the incident. 

Bartholomew allegedly fled the scene in a white Kia Soul duct tape covering the vehicle's license plate, taking with him an undisclosed amount of cash just before 8:30 p.m.

No one was injured in the robbery. Police describe Bartholomew as a white man with a gray beard who is considered armed and believed to be driving that Soul with Tennessee license plate number 154BPKT.
