Free flu shots available statewide on Oct. 15

The Williamson County Health Department is offering free flu shots on Oct. 15 as part of Tennessee's 2024 Fight Flu prevention program.

The free flu shots will be provided to anyone 6 months old and older, with no appointments needed, at the following locations and times:

•Franklin Clinic, located at 1324 West Main Street, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

•Fairview Clinic, located at 2629 Fairview Boulevard, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

•College Grove Community Center, located at 8601 Horton Highway, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Receiving an annual flu vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and those around you from the worst outcomes of the flu virus,” Williamson County Health Director Cathy Montgomery said in a news release. “The flu vaccine is safe and effective and helps prepare your body to fight against the flu virus and prevent it from spreading.”
