Truce, a new organic restaurant concept, is set to open in Cool Springs in 2026.

With the tagline "fine food fast," Truce promises "clean, organic ingredients" without artificial additives or seed oils. The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Construction has begun at 1809 Mallory Lane, a site formerly home to The Tennessee Credit Union. When completed, Truce will have a patio, a drive-thru lane and a dining room with a combined footprint of 4,530 square feet, according to a press release.

Williamson County resident Matt Frauenshuh is the founder and creator of Truce. He has served as CEO of Fourteen Foods, which owns and operates Dairy Queen franchises, since 2006. Truce is his first original restaurant concept.

“My wife Beth and I had a dream to create a restaurant unlike anything out there — truly putting people first, offering delicious, real food without the harmful ingredients, served in a beautiful setting and convenient for the guest,” says Frauenshuh. “As a dad of four always on the go, I know how challenging it is for busy families to find a restaurant that everyone wants to go to. At Truce, we aim to provide something for everyone. It’s never a compromise, it’s a Truce.”
