Franklin’s Rocky Top Revue cloggers have been entertaining crowds for more than three decades at venues from the Grand Ole Opry to Franklin’s annual PumpkinFest. It’s a special treat to see the dancers in a more casual setting — on the Franklin square for their monthly practice. Buck dancing, clogging and square dancing are all a means of preserving Appalachian culture. Besides, it is just plain fun to watch. Whether or not you have experience in percussive dance, you’ll be inspired to move your feet and smile for the audience. The group also loves crowd participation, so don’t be surprised if you’re pulled in among the ensemble.Â
