Franklin Theatrical Fellowship may be new to the local arts scene, but this semi-professional nonprofit theater group is already making its mark. The company opened in July 2024, with a terrific production of the groundbreaking courtroom drama Twelve Angry Jurors. And in January, they became the first theater company in the nation to stage Doug Wright’s hit play Good Night, Oscar — fresh off the show’s Broadway run. But along with producing thought-provoking theater, FTF is working to build community and bring people together, whether hosting post-show talkbacks, supporting new works and local writers, or working to make the arts more accessible to local youth.Â
