Williamson, Inc. announced a new board of directors on Tuesday. 

Chuck Abbott, the CEO of Gray Line Transportation Tennessee, will serve as board chair for 2026 through 2027 for the chamber of commerce and economic development organization. He replaces Luis Parodi, a vice president at Republic Bank, who is set to complete his term as board chair this month. 

“We are grateful for Luis’ service over the past two years and look forward to the vision and executive insight Chuck brings,” said Matt Largen, president and CEO of Williamson, Inc. “Our board reflects the collaboration this economy is built on, and these leaders help ensure Williamson County remains a place where businesses and people have every opportunity to succeed.”

Eleven members are rolling off the board, including Doug Kreulen, the 2022-2023 Williamson, Inc. board chair and Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority CEO. Eleven new members have been appointed to replace them. 

The new board members include:

  • Robert Ramsey, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer, Nashville International Airport Authority
  • Kurt Kane, President & CEO, TruGreen
  • Ahsan Irshad, President, AlphaGraphics Brentwood
  • Mark Chaffin, President & CEO, Mitsubishi Motors North America
  • Julia Bonner, President, Pierce Public Relations
  • Erica Mitchell, CEO, United Way of Greater Nashville
  • Derrick Solomon, Executive Director, Hard Bargain Association
  • Alan Thompson, Chief Marketing Officer, Ragan-Smith Associates
  • Jim Meade, CEO & Managing Shareholder, LBMC
  • Dr. Shane Hall, Vice President, Williamson Campus — Columbia State Community College

The Williamson County Commission earlier this year renewed its contract with the economic development arm of Williamson Inc. for $400,000 per year. The arm brought in $10 million in business taxes from June 2024 to June 2025 and increased income from hotel and motel taxes. Williamson Inc. also recently presented a Keys to Housing luncheon, during which speakers explained a projected 10,000 housing unit shortfall in Williamson County by 2030.
