The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Mobile Registration Intake Center (MRIC) will be open this Thursday-Saturday to help residents affected by Winter Storm Fern with disaster assistance.

The center will be open each day from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at the main branch of the Williamson County Library in Franklin.

Winter Storm Fern caused 39 deaths in Tennessee, including five in Davidson County, and knocked out power for more hundreds of thousands of people.

In the aftermath of the storm, the City of Brentwood collected and disposed of more than 323,000 cubic yards of storm debris, while the state legislature passed a bill to expand Nashville Electric Service board representation to include Williamson County.
