The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that injured one person and resulted in a vehicle crash on May 3.
Just after 10 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a crash on Parker Branch Road near the Natchez Trace Parkway where they found an unidentified driver with a gunshot wound.
“Investigators believe the crash may have been caused by a gunshot striking the vehicle and the driver,” a WCSO news release reads, adding that the driver was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
