Raintree Parkway at Crockett Road to close for a week for roundabout construction

Drivers who travel in and out of the Raintree Forest subdivision from Crockett Road will have to find a new route next week.

Beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 24 through 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, Raintree Parkway will be closed at Crockett Road as crews excavate part of the entrance in order to construct the south side of the roundabout.

Residents will only be able to access subdivisions along Raintree Parkway using Wilson Pike. Drivers should adjust travel times and seek alternate routes.

Brentwood police suggest planning ahead and allowing extra time for driving around the closure. Williamson County Schools, which includes nearby Ravenwood High School, will be on spring break during the closure.

Firefighters and other emergency personnel are aware of this planned construction and will be adjusting their response plans to minimize any impact on emergency response times.

Assistant Fire Chief David Windrow said modifications were finalized this week.

“Brentwood Fire Station Two, located on Wilson Pike, will cover additional areas during the closure,” he said. “We have also notified Williamson County Emergency Management Services as well.”

The roundabout is intended to cut down on traffic congestion in the area at peak travel times.
