Crews are currently working on a structure fire at 505 Granny White Pike after a woman reported she smelled smoke in the home, emergency communications supervisor Steve Martini said. More information on that fire is pending.
Martini said power lines are down in various locations in the city. He said a tree hit a power line in the Williamsburg subdivision, and a tree is in the middle of the road at Heathrow Boulevard and Stewart Lane. Another tree on a power line was reported on Meadlowlark Lane.
Emergency crews in Franklin have not reported any damage as of 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Other municipalities have not yet responded.
