Nolensville cross country and track and field star Claire Stegall might be the best high school athlete in the state, regardless of sport or class. With her senior year of track and field still yet to be completed, the University of Florida commit has already won seven state titles when factoring in both of her sports (three in cross country, four in track and field). Stegall owns state records in both the 800-meter and 1600-meter races and qualified for nationals in cross country, becoming the first Williamson County runner (alongside Independence’s Jaynie Halterman) to do so in 15 years.
