Puckett’s Grocery in downtown Franklin and Puckett’s Boat House are currently selling raffle tickets to win the Williamson County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)’s 2016 playhouse.

This local branch of a national nonprofit organization provides volunteers to advocate in court on behalf and alongside of children who have been in situations of neglect or abuse.

In an effort to raise funds each year, CASA sells raffle tickets for a playhouse donated by local partners. This year’s playhouse was designed and built by Franklin Firefighters Charities and is valued at approximately $20,000.

During September, diners can purchase a raffle ticket, usually $20, for just $10 from either restaurant to be entered to win the playhouse.

A. Marshall Family Foods will cover the other $10 for each ticket purchased. All proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit CASA, and the winner will be drawn at 5 p.m. on Oct. 29 during Pumpkinfest in Franklin.

Please call Puckett’s Franklin at (615) 794-5527 or Puckett’s Boat House at (615) 790-2309 with any questions. For more information about CASA, visit www.williamsoncountycasa.org.
