Williamson Weekly: Shuttle to BNA Now Available

Williamson County residents can now catch a shuttle to the Nashville International Airport. 

This week, Gray Line Tennessee hosted a ribbon-cutting for airLINE, a shuttle that picks up at the Cool Springs Convention Center and drops off at BNA. The cost is $25 per trip or $249 for an annual membership. 

Supported by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, the shuttle runs Sunday through Friday with 10 pickup times in Cool Springs, starting at 3:10 a.m. and ending at 7:45 p.m.

Gray Line Tennessee also offers the Franklin hop-on, hop-off trolley tour; a Civil War tour centered on the Battle of Franklin; and several Nashville tours. Earlier this month, Chuck Abbott, the CEO of Gray Line Transportation Tennessee, was named board chair of Williamson Inc. 

Centennial High School eSports Score National Ranking

Centennial High School has been ranked among the top eSports programs in the country, according to USA Today High School Sports. 

Across more than 600 schools, CHS was ranked fifth in the nation, based on the average win percentage of each school’s top-performing teams. In order to be eligible, the team must compete in five unique eSports titles, with Centennial competing in OW2, Valorant, Marvel Rivals, Rocket League, Fortnite, Madden25 and Mario Kart, among others. 

“I am so proud of all of these students,” said CHS eSports coach Kate Morris. “I cannot wait to see how the fall playoffs end up and am looking forward to a strong spring 2026 season as well.”

Williamson Health Earns Five-Star 'Forbes' Rating

Williamson Medical Center, the flagship location of Williamson Health, has been granted a five-star rating in Forbes Magazine’s inaugural Top Hospitals list. It is the only hospital in Middle Tennessee to earn such a rating, according to a press release. 

The rating system evaluated hospitals based on patient outcomes, hospital best practices, value, and patient experience, with 253 out of 2,500 hospitals given the five-star rating. 

The news comes as the independent hospital system eyes a sale, citing troubles with staffing and adequate insurance reimbursement. Williamson Health also opened a Cool Springs clinic in September.
