For her big decision for a Power 5 conference for softball and great play in the diamond and on the basketball court, Battle Ground Academy alum Kyah Keller-Smith is our 2019 Female Athlete of the Year for the school.

Keller-Smith is a softball ace for BGA and wound up signing with Clemson to play at the next level in December.

She spoke about her excitement for the decision at the day’s event.

“It’s really exciting,” she said of the moment. “It’s awesome to have my friends and family here. I’m just really excited for this new journey in my life.”

Keller-Smith was also a key member of the BGA Lady Wildcats basketball team and made our All-Williamson County list for girls basketball this past season.

She also played volleyball for the school, rounding her out as a three-sport athlete.
