The Factory at Franklin

Anthropologie has announced an opening date for its new location outside of the Factory at Franklin.

The two-story structure is set to open on Aug. 14, according to a press release. The former location at 335 Main St, which opened in 2012, is set to close on the same date.

The first floor will house the traditional Anthropologie store, with the second floor to house Anthropologie Weddings. Terrain, Anthropologie’s home and garden brand, will be featured in an enclosed glass retail area in the rear of the building.

“We could not be more thrilled to bring this new Anthropologie experience to Franklin and the vibrant community there,” says Mindy Massey, global executive director of retail at Anthropologie. “This location is truly special, from its rich historical architecture to the unique blend of our apparel and home offerings, wedding designs, and immersive Terrain shop."

Archives and museum to host art exhibit

Statewide organization Tennessee Craft is set to open an exhibition at the Williamson County Archives and Museum.

Craft Continuum is set to be on view from Aug. 31 to Nov. 12, with an opening reception set for Sept. 4, according to a press release. It will feature work from the craftspeople across the state. Sherri Warner Hunter curated the exhibit by selecting items from the archive and museum’s collection and asking artists to create a work inspired by it.

The exhibit is part of a national initiative, American Craft Council’s Handwork: Celebrating American Craft 2026, and builds on Tennessee Craft’s first exhibit at the Williamson County Archives & Museum in 2025.

Scenthound expands in Cool Springs

Dog grooming center Scenthound has opened another Williamson County location in Cool Springs at 101 International Dr.

This represents the fifth area location for Scenthound, which first opened a Franklin location at 2020 Fieldstone Parkway in 2024. Franchise owner Jacob Lee, recently acquired a location in Mt. Juliet in addition to his locations in East Nashville, Melrose and Brentwood. Combined, the Middle Tennessee locations have more than 3,000 monthly members, according to a press release.

“Since opening our first Middle Tennessee location in 2024, we have continued momentum and seen outstanding support from the communities where we have opened locations,” said Lee. “Cool Springs marks our fifth location in the Midstate, and we’re very excited to move into Mt. Juliet. As we continue to expand, we look forward to serving more Tennesseans and their pets. We’re well on our way to becoming the preeminent dog grooming destination in the region.”
