Barron J. Brackett was arrested in Oklahoma after he was named as a suspect in Saturday morning’s burglary of Mill Creek Church of Christ in Nolensville.
According to a Facebook post by the Nolensville Police Department Brackett was arrested near Durant, Oklahoma, a town of about 18,000 people near the Texas border.
According to the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office, Brackett was booked into their jail, and as of Thursday afternoon, he had not yet seen a judge. An unidentified BCSO deputy could not comment on when Brackett will face his charges out of Tennessee, but did say that he was arrested for his status as a fugitive on the run.
According to a previously released NPD news release, Brackett is from Texas and has lived in Middle Tennessee for about two years with previously known addresses in La Vergne, Brentwood and Antioch.
NPD Detectives said that Brackett was wanted for Burglary and Theft over $1,000 dollars and has similar outstanding warrants in Texas.
