OneGenAway

Franklin nonprofit One Generation Away will host a mobile food pantry at Centennial High School this Saturday, March 16.

The event will see a variety of fresh produce and non-perishable foods distributed for free beginning at 9 a.m., while supplies last.

“We are thrilled to be serving the Franklin community once again,” OneGenAway Founder and CEO Chris Whitney said in a news release. “Franklin is where OneGenAway began, and it is crucial for us to continue to serve our home city as we continue to expand and grow into surrounding communities as well.”

Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to arrive at 7:30 a.m. to help sort and distribute the food.

Centennial High School is located at 5050 Mallory Lane in Franklin.

OneGenAway will also host mobile food pantries in Columbia and Morgan, Ala., on March 23.
