Century Farms in Williamson County

Anthony Luster, feeding cattle on his family farm, is the great, great, grandson of founder, Grant Luster, Sr., who was born a slave in 1864.

Virginia Pearre Egbert and her husband, Paul, continue the tradition of farming on her family’s land in Williamson County. The barn in the background was built by Virginia’s grandfather, her father, and her uncles.

Glenn Acres Farm is the oldest Century Farm in Williamson County and was established around 1785. Descendants continue to gather in the farmhouse which includes the original log cabin.
