In the crowded landscape of local coffee shops, The Flower Kitchen manages to stand out with excellent coffee, tea, food and, yes, flowers. It might seem a little unconventional, but there’s something really lovely about picking up a fresh bouquet or arrangement along with your morning latte. There’s a great little menu, with scratch-made breakfast and lunch items served all day, plus fresh daily pastries. (The blackberry lemon scone is my personal fave). The vibe is always warm and welcoming, and there’s a real sense of community, with fun events like floral design workshops, game nights and more.
