Walking into Southern Cottage this year, I felt led to buy everything. Of course, my bank account gave me a wake-up call and stopped me. Blending Southern Manor and Tin Cottage, the owners made one large department store on the public square in Franklin this year. It’s beautiful, chic and charming. I love that I could buy anything from clothing to dinnerware. It’s also a place I anticipate doing birthday and Christmas shopping in, given the wide range of products and lines the store carries. Your debit card won’t thank you for all the purchases you make, but your closet and home will.
