I remember this day pretty clearly after a snowfall in Williamson County. One of the few places open in town was Ground. I had never been, but it felt like a place that all small towns have: a greasy spoon. I mean that in the best way possible. Ground is delicious, particularly its burgers and crispy fries, and feels like Franklin’s own dive. Located on West Main Street, Ground can feel a little bit hidden, but once you find it, you’ll keep going back for more.
