I was delighted to learn this year that an afternoon snack is customary in India. It’s a personal custom I’ve been abiding by for some time. The owners of Chai Samosa offer just that, a chai tea and samosa, a popular fried savory pastry. While you’re there, you can browse the India Bazaar grocery store and pick up fresh essentials, plus try out some of their imported goodies. The owners and employees at these Brentwood-area establishments are more than helpful, and happy to give tips to those who may be less in tune with South Asian culture. It’s a good chance to get away from the office and return fueled.
