Brothers in Black

Teenage brothers under the stage name Brothers in Black are exactly what you would imagine based on the name: three young boys dressed in black clothing with wide-brimmed hats and suspenders. What you wouldn’t expect from boys around their age is ageless talent. Alternating between standing bass and blues guitar, Brothers in Black perform their stories around parts of Nashville and Williamson County like old souls. The boys trademark themselves as a Johnny Cash tribute band, with timeless covers of “Folsom Prison Blues” and “Get Rhythm” in Leiper’s Fork, picking through Cash classics with their own unique spin. They’ve made a name for themselves this past year: it’s not unusual to find Brothers in Black at legendary venues like Fox and Locke, where they jam out to their large repertoire of Johnny Cash tunes and more.
