Williamson Weekly: Leadership Franklin Announces 2026-27 Class

Two pilates companies are planning locations in Williamson County. 

Reformer pilates concept Jetset pilates is set to open at 205 Franklin Rd., Suite 100 in Brentwood in mid-July, with preview classes set to begin on July 7. Jetset already has a location in Midtown Nashville. The Brentwood studio is owned by Michael, Weslyn and Christian Reed, family members who work in the television business. The family also plans five more locations in the area, including in Franklin, Spring Hill, Murfreesboro, and East Nashville. 

"When we began exploring business opportunities, we knew we wanted something that aligned with our family's values and allowed us to make a meaningful impact in the community," said Michael. "JETSET stood out because of its leadership team, proven model and elevated approach to fitness. We're excited to create a space where our neighbors can invest in their health, build confidence and feel connected through Pilates." 

In addition, Bodybar Pilates is set to open a location at mixed-use district Meridian Cool Springs this fall, according to a press release. Bodybar Pilates was founded in Dallas in 2012 and has 100 locations across the country. The Franklin location at 995 Meridian Blvd. represents the brand’s first foray into Tennessee.

Leadership Franklin announces 2026-27 class

Leadership Franklin has announced its class of 2026-27, representing the 29th class of the community leadership program. The program lasts ten months, from August to May, according to a press release, and the program has educated 500 leaders thus far.  

“We are intentional in selecting established leaders who reflect a true cross-section of Franklin and Williamson County,” said Executive Director Paula Harris. “Through the program, participants engage deeply with critical topics, including government, land resources, economic development, quality of life, and education — conversations that strengthen not only individual leaders but the community as a whole.”

Earlier this year, Leadership Franklin named its second-ever board chair, Brandy Blanton, following the retirement of Julian Bibb III. 

Fair to release discounted tickets  

Discounted tickets for the Williamson County Fair are set to be released on Sunday.

These discounted general admission and ride tickets will be available online from July 5 through August 6, with the fair set to begin on August 7 and last through August 15. Earlier this year, the fair announced that its theme would be “As American As Apple Pie”  

“Make plans for the whole family to attend the Williamson County Fair – it’s the best way to close out the summer,” said Paul Webb, Williamson County Fair Board Chair. “Buying tickets online ahead of time allows you to take advantage of special pricing, skip the ticket lines and enjoy all the fun!”
