For her excellent 2018-19 season on the basketball court that garnered her numerous accolades, Page High alum Faith Wilken is the school’s Female Athlete of the Year.
Wilken led the Page Lady Patriots to a soaring campaign, finishing 29-5 overall and 15-1 against the district.
She scored her 2,000th point with Page in the team’s district tournament, and helped them make the region tournament as well.
Her high school career led to her getting to play at the next level; she’s off to join Trevecca this fall.
“(Faith) is extremely talented and I just believe the ceiling is still high for her,” Trevecca coach Chad Hibdon said in a feature we ran on Wilken this winter. “I think that she’s developing her game. Her athleticism, strength and quickness can continue to improve and with that her production can even become greater.”
She was the Home Page’s 2018-19 Girls Basketball Player of the Year, the 11-AAA MVP and won the county’s WillCo Award for top girls basketball player.
