For years, PumpkinFest was just a single day for Franklin's fall festival that takes over Main Street.

After hearing feedback, the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County decided to expand the autumnal gathering by an extra day.

“PumpkinFest has been a time-honored tradition for over 40 years, and we are thrilled to now offer the community a two-day event,” said Bari Beasley, president and CEO of the Heritage Foundation. “After hearing guests and community feedback, we worked with our board members and the City of Franklin to expand the event. We are excited to see these changes and help bring even more visitors to our downtown.”

In 2025, PumpkinFest welcomed more than 135,000 attendees in a single day, which meant festival organizers wanted to see if there was an opportunity for the gathering to grow.

This year's festival is slated for Oct. 24 and Oct. 25.
